Anime Nashville moves from Cool Springs Media Play to Hickory Hollow Media Play when CS store closes (?) [At least the wall art made its way to HH]

First few meetings are held in the book section of Media Play with flyers distributed around the small anime VHS tape section. Fred Quinones presides over the meetings.

Rapidly running out of interesting things that could be shown "out in public", and also room to sit, the club meetings move to the break room of Media Play. 2nd Mondays of each Month?

Collect-a-con aka "Suck-a-con" held in the Nashville convention center. Anime Nashville mans a small booth showing Anime and AMVs on a small tv.

First Digital Video Disk players hit the US market, not having to choose between subtitled and dubbed Anime is a promising feature

AWA 5 (Phil, Stephen, Wes, Paul, Lucas, Patrick, Chris T) Phil entered "Young Boys" AMV, wins "Most Sick & Perverted". Melissa noticed our T-shirts and began coming to meetings

Bylaws enacted. Officers elected: Fred was re-elected as President, Phil - VP, Ed - Master at Arms, Wes - Librarian, Lucas defeated Klara in a runoff for Secretary.

MTAC 1 held (Volunteer staff from AN: Patrick, Lucas, Fred, Phil, Stephen, Chris T, Melissa, Chris K, Klara)

Budd hosts one of the Maison Ikkoku meetings and brings a "real life Japanese girl" She can't believe we watch such shows, and runs away very fast ^_^

Cell painting at Phil's house: "We spent two to three hours painting and playing Bomber Man (Playstation Party Edition) and then took a break to go to Cookers to eat. We then came back to my place where we did some final touching up of the cells (and Bomber Man) and then called it a night." -Phil

Not having learned from the first time, Fred starts a new car thread about "The Fast and the Furious" that runs rampant for a while.

The final 5 Episodes (#92-96) of Maison Ikkoku are watched, brining to a close the "Meisomi's."

Lan party at Stephen's house.
January 31
One more Maison Ikkoku meeting is held to watch the movie.
February 3
Superbowl/housewarming party at Budd's new house.
February 21
About 12 AN members see Jin Rohi(d) at the Belcourt, and handed out flyers for MTAC
March 7
Inu-Yasha is chosen as the next long-running series to view after Maison Ikkoku, and the first meeting is held
